Description

Chemtoberfest! 2018

Chemtoberfest! is part science fair, part chemical ‘petting zoo’  where we invite the campus community and local school-aged kids to explore “Chemistry and Science that is out of This World!”  We aligned the program this year with the American Chemical Society’s theme for National Chemistry Week.

We will take participants on a “Tour” of our Solar System through Stowell and Timerman Halls where they will visit each planet along the way!  Participants will check-in on Earth as they prepare for “Blast Off” learning about sustainability, renewable energy, and the importance of respecting the planet we live on.

School-age students will be split up with chaperones and an assigned Tour Guide (Mrs. Frizzle and her Frazzled Sisters) and lead through each Event Location or Activity

*RSVP REQUIRED*

NON-COLLEGE VISITORS AND LARGE GROUPS MUST RSVP BY 10/15/18
