The Sofja Kovalevskaja Award allows participants to spend five years building up a working group and working on a high-profile, innovative research project of their choice at a research institution of their choice in Germany. Scientists and scholars from all disciplines are encouraged to apply online. Applicants and participants must be successful top-rank junior researchers from abroad, must have completed their doctorate with distinction within the last six years, and must have published work in prestigious international journals or publishing houses.
