This program, jointly funded by FAPESP and NSF, encourages U.S researchers and students to propose and participate in new initiatives to catalyze international collaboration. Proposals can be made for workshops, pilot projects and other activities and could be developed in up to 3 years. Each proposal must have two Principal Investigators, one in São Paulo State and one in the U.S. who will be the central contacts for the management of the project regarding their respective agency.

Key Dates: Proposals are accepted throughout the year and applicants are advised to submit proposals at least 9 months prior to the proposed activity.Proposals are being accepted for future consideration; however, no proposals are currently being funded until further notice (as of October 2015).
